Taligen has raised approximately $70 million in two rounds of private equity funding, Series A and Series B, from leading venture capitalists experienced in identifying and supporting the growth of new, innovative biotechnology companies.

	Sanderling Ventures led the Series A financing of Taligen in August 2005 and has continued its participation in the Series B financing.
	Alta Partners co-led Taligen's Series B financing in January 2008 along with Clarus Ventures.
	Clarus Ventures co-led Taligen's Series B financing in January 2008 along with Alta Partners.
	Tango/High Country Venture participated in both Series A and Series B financings.
